Lucky Wheel Hack Script

The Diamond Casino & Resort's Lucky Wheel has become one of the more elaborate ways to get some extra cash, RP, chips, clothing or even win a free podium vehicle in GTA Online - A massive glowing wheel of fortune towering above the casino floor. Players use a variety of methods such as playing games, gambling etc. to activate the wheel. Once activated, the player will be able to play a daily spin, and hopefully come out with a large amount of money. However, for many players this is just about luck. With the help of third party lua based tools (YimV2) users are now able to use scripts made specifically for these programs and alter the odds of winning. In this post we'll take an in-depth look at the 'Luck Wheel Prize Script' version 1.73 for YimV2. We'll explore exactly what the script does, how it was created and how it interfaces with your menu systems and provide you with examples of what each part of the script looks like via in game images.

What the Script Does

In short, the script is very simple. The author did not attempt to add any new physics, new models, or any other form of visual effects. Nor did he try to figure out how the wheels animations were done. The author simply targeted a specific memory location within the game. That location contained a number representing which item would be awarded after spinning. He then used the script to write his own value into that location prior to resolving the spin. So instead of having a truly random outcome, he had control of the prize awarding process. After loading the native functions library and getting a pointer to the 'Casino' Category under the 'Recovery' Submenu (the same organization used in all of YimV2's Recovery/Utility Tools), the script creates a lookup table for all 20 possible outcomes from spinning the lucky wheel:

• Clothing (outfit tier 1-4)
• RP Awards (2500-$17,500)
• Money ($20,000-$50,000)
• Poker Chips (10,000-25,000)
• Discount Voucher (10%)
• Mystery Prize
• Podium Vehicle

Installation:

Users can simply download the latest script from here or UC releases section and COPY the Script to directly into their %AppData%\Yimv2\scripts directory. In-Game UI: Once injected, pressing [Insert] to open the menu open settings tab and lua scripts Tap on the Desired Script which we pasted into the scripts folder and once its loaded then Navigate to Recovery Tab > Casino Secrtion the script will be loaded there

Creating the Command Interface

After creating the Prize Table, the script creates two new commands using the command manager api from yimv2. The first command, cas_lw, is a List command. As you can see in the screenshot above, this is how we create the drop-down box (scrollable) that lists all available prizes. We pass a default index of 18 to the list. By coincidence, this index corresponds to our Podium Vehicle prize, thus it will be the one displayed when we load the menu for the first time. The Second command, cas_forcelw, is were most of the magic happen. We register this command as a Looping command. Therefore, it run every frames instead of just firing one time. Within the Loop, the script checks if the casino_lucky_wheel script is currently running. If it is, it retrieves a Script Local reference (a Pointer to that scripts local variables array). Specifically to local slot #150, index #5, scope = Player. Then we write to that memory location the value of the option currently selected in the cas_lw drop down box. As long as this loop keeps running while the casino_lucky_wheel script is active, each time a user clicks Spin, the Game logic will read out this written-in-ahead-of-time value and use it as its official result. Even though the game wheel continues to animate and turn around; what has really happened here is that the game itself has been tricked into treating the results ahead of time as the real thing.

Rendering (Bottom Half of the script)

We are now going to render something. Once again using imgui, we draw a little window at the bottom of the Recovery Menu labeled Lucky Wheel. Since this window belongs to the Casino Category; it will appear there. It does two things. First off, it indicates whether or not there is a valid prize being held within it by checking the same memory location that was being written to by the loop. If that location contains -1, it renders "None" in a gray disabled text style. Otherwise it finds the matching name in the prize table and renders it in Green.
